Biography

Ahmet Kaya, born on July 5, continues his duty as the Deputy Mayor of İznik Municipality and carries out his works devotedly for the development and services of his region. At the same time, he plays an active role in the development of local rural areas as the Deputy Director of Rural Services of İznik Municipality. In addition to this duty, he serves as the director of the İpekyolu Municipalities Union, which strengthens cooperation between municipalities throughout Turkey.

Ahmet Kaya, as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of İznik YEG (Local Action Group), also contributes to the direction of local development projects and the increase of social participation. Ahmet Kaya, who produces effective projects in the fields of environment, agriculture and local government services in the duties he undertakes, makes great efforts to provide social benefit in the region and to accelerate the development of İznik.
